My customer is getting a warning on every boot that says CifX card has no license for this protocol stack. Can you explain this warning and is it a problem? This is on Windows Control RTE.

This error message really comes as the CIFX firmware and is called 'INVALID LICENCE'.
Sometimes the cards lose their license because of some HW defects.
there is a tool available from Hilscher which can read the installed licenses...
So I would give the advice to ask the hilscher support.

Hi,
