Hi,

I need to use Rising Edge Trigger in a program. To understand how it functions, I wrote a simple program with single input and output. Simulation can be seen here: https://youtu.be/SLGQLkMbE2g

In the video you can see that R_Trig function block detects the rising edge of the input on only two occasions.

Is there a problem with software/ function block or anything else?

Thank you

rtrig's output is only True for one cycle when the signal changes, so for maybe 20ms if you have a default cycle time set.
The fact that you can see it at all is due to the scan of the visualisation.
If you stick a tof at the end of it with let's say 3s then you will see the trigger.

A simulation is not accurate, the trigger does work for one cycle, (taking very small time, not enough to be visible at screen,
you will need to use a SET coil to see it working correct.
