yes it is very confusing
but you are correct it is in radians.
to convert have a look at w www.oscat.de w he has made a library with all types of functions you may need.
it looks german but everything is in english.

In all manuals says,
The angle units for SIN, COS, TAN is arc minutes.
I tried and think the angle units is radians.
