    hello experts ,

    i need your help regarding usage of CAA SERIAL COM 3.5.6.0 LIBRARY?

    HOW CAN I USE THIS LIBRARY , I JUST WANT TO SEND FEW ASCII CHARACTERS TO HYPERTERMINAL VIA MY DEVICE RS232 PORT.

    MY DEVOCE IS TURCK PLC

    please guide is anybody used this library/ any sample code will be usefull

    I use only the ST language. But I can show how the asynchronous serial exchange looks in a graphical form, using the CFC language as an example. I do not recommend using graphic languages for these purposes. The attached example shows the implementation of the state machine. Similarly, you can use the CAA Serial library. This works in LD too.

    ST (or structured text) is actually more simple to pick up then you might think!
    Check and search youtube for some Codesys Structured Text basics courses, made by enthusiasts.
    That way you can see what they do and type along to reproduce their results.
