Hello,

I am currently trying to connect to the control unit of a G120 kit via Profinet from a Raspberry Pi. I had no issues importing the appropriate GSDML files into my device repository and could successfully attach the control unit in question to my project. However, I am experiencing difficulties when configuring said control unit: By default, the station (i.e. device) name is "g120_1". Codesys will not accept that as a valid name, though, claiming it were an "invalid stationname." This will also prevent my project from compiling. I managed to establish a connection after flashing the name "g120-1," which is happily accepted by Codesys. Since the unit is part of a larger setup, I am afraid this is not a viable solution, though.

While experimenting around, I found that the bare Profinet device provided by Codesys is showing the exact same behaviour. I would therefore conclude that this is entirely unrelated to the imported GSDML files. I first observed this in v3.5 SP13 and could reproduce it in the recently released v3.5 SP13p1. Any advice?

TIA!
