    Hello,

after inserting the EL6900 module, the SafetyTask is not automatically added and, even from the context menu of the SafetyApp, it is not possible to add it: the selection is missing.
    Any suggestion?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    That's great, thanks.
    The tutorial is very clear.

However I have an additional question: is it allowed to create safety FB's? I see in the POU tab the possibility to insert "External FB (EtherCAT Safety)". By trying to create a new FB, the declaration area is displayed only: no code is allowed to create.
    Any suggestion?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi ugogiannotti!

As far as I know, the standard password for the EL6900 is "TwinSAFE".

You need to know the serial number of the module, which is written on the side...

    Good luck!

    Alfred

    Hi alwoso,

thanks a lot. I also find the answer into the related Beckhoff manual.
I have one more question to post: any idea regarding the message I get when attemping to download the application to the safety module? Please, have a look to the attached file.

    Thanks a lot in advance.

Moreover: what does the orange cycle mean close the EL6910 module in the project tree while online?

    Thanks.

    Hello all,

    I consider the issue closed.

For the sake of information, the alarm message comes from wrong connection of safety blocks while le orange circle means missing licence for the lib OdDrvEL6910.

    Hi all,

I just found this topic and I'm using the EL6910 for analog values.

I watched the tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y5c-ZxtCc0o and I'm surprised that the log. devices (FSOE from safe devices) are automatically be added to the EL6900.

Unfortunately this is not working anymore with the EL6910...

Would be great if this could be integrated again...

    Thanks
    Stefan
