I can't select the network variable list when i do right mouse button on my application->Add object.

I have two devices which are connected by can bus. One is a tt controller from hydac and the other a remote control from autec.
I want to exchange variables between the devices, in the codesys help they say it can be done with a network variable list but i can't select it.
Am i missing something? Maybe a library or something. How can exchange variables between two devices?
I'm new to Codesys so all help is welcome.

Thanks for the help but i think i'm missing the option to go to professional, i'm missing the features tab, see attached. I downloaded this version of Codesys V3.5 SP8 from the hydac tt-controls website.
Hope that you can help me further for how to create a global network variable list.

in old CODESYS versions you need to switch the featureset to professional
