Hi everyone, i am new to codesys and Raspberry.
I downloaded codesys V3.5 sp8 and also codesys control for raspberry SL. i also update the raspberry pi from codesys.
i need to use the Pi like a modbus master and to configure it in the way that it can communicate with other modbus slave devices over the physical layer RTU RS485 and send commands and receive responses.
i created a project in codesys and i added a modbus master object and a modbus slave object.
so now the question is what should i do next.
- should i download some library to codesys?
- how to configure the pi I/Os to use them as RS485 interface
- i guess i don't need to write any program in codesys for such usecase, is that true?
any help is greatly apreciated and thank in advanced.
